The Mark Johnston trained Boscobel is today’s nap. Joe Fanning is yet to be beaten on the horse and, after wining well at 8-1 at Royal Ascot deserves to take his chance here. At the forecast odds of 6-1 he looks a good e/w bet.
Well, the heavy rain and resulting soft going proved too much for poor old Boscobel in the 2007 Irish Derby. Congratulations to Aiden O’Brien for a 1-2-3.
