Todays Nap Thursday 13th September

5 furlong handicaps always make me nervous, but sometimes one comes along which makes a little flutter irresistible, so off we go to Sandown to see Day By Day strut her stuff in the 2:50.

Result: Great race beaten by a S/H 2nd@6-1

Todays Nap Wednesday 12th September

The four day St Ledger meeting starts today at Doncaster, but we don’t want to bother with that!! we are off to Uttoxeter for 4:35 where Eljay’s Boy will be running, his first outing since coming third at Ascot in March this year. The Tizzard family, jockey and trainer should have everything wrapped up in this 2mile 4 furlong chase.

Result: Well beaten into 4th place

Todays Nap Monday 10th September

Lapina Folkestone 4:50 is todays selection, she came second here in July in a twelve furlong race and is going up a class this afternoon, but the Pat Eddery trained filly is quite capable of a win today.

Result: Not up to the task today, only managed a poor 6 from 9

Todays Nap Saturday 8th September

Take your sea sickness pills - it’s time for a trip across the Irish sea to Leapardstown, where Dylan Thomas in the 3:50 is todays nap. Sadly he wont be the longest of odds, in fact he’ll be very short with a forecast price of 8/11. Red Rock Canyon in the same race has the potential to come second at huge odds.

Saturday Patent : 8th September 2007

Leopardstown 3:50 Dylan Thomas (IRE)
Haydock 3:40 Inchnadamph (GB)
Haydock 4:10 Fitzroy Crossing (USA)

Good luck…
