Back to a one4racing Patent this week. Our best bet is Count Kristo (2:05 Newbury) who looks well in on our ratings. We then but our faith in Or Bleu (Newbury 3:50) who looks a value bet at a forecast starting price of around 6/1. Finally we like the look of Rodrigo Gonzales (Kempton 3:25) in a race which has the making of a two horse race with Stellenbosch being the main danger.
Our Jasper Doncaster 4:15 is today’s selection. It appears Randwick Roar is the one to beat and Our Jasper could be the one to do it. Comprehensively beaten last month at Wincanton, but back to a class three today. Not to be ruled out.
Nikola Leicester 2:20 is today’s bet: It appears to be a choice between Nikola and Fandani both good bets, but I’m coming down on the side of Nikola as he is more at home as a chaser.
We’re of to Ireland today for our best bet of the day with Beau Michael running in the 2:45 at Fairyhouse. Hopefully this game front runner can get our weekend of to a good start. Hell’s Bay Sandown 2:55. Bit iffy last time out at Newbury and one paced, but if he is back on form should have little trouble today.
Senora Snoopy Huntington 1:50 is the bet of the day.She has been placed in her last five runs and has be in with a shout today, though Fretwork could be a threat.
Space Cowboy Taunton 3:20 is todays Nap. Made a big mistake last time out at Ascot, but has still to be fancied today and worth giving a second chance.
A fantastic days racing ahead of us today, with the 2008 Cheltnham festival just around the corner a number of runners today will be looking to stake their claims. Todays best bet is Witchita Lineman (Haydock 1:05) who if he is to really make his mark in the World Hurdle at Cheltenham must surely win this today.
