Saturday Nap: National Hunt Novice Hurdle Final

Crescent Island (Newbury, 3:55) looks to have the measure of the opposition today. Won here in January but then dissapointed when coming third at Chepstow, we’ll back him today to get back to winning ways. The one4racing Saturday Patent is back this week and we’ll put in a couple of outsiders in the mix so that we can win in style;) Tizzy Blue (Newbury, 3:25) should start at around 16/1 so even represents each way value. Finally, Carte Diamond (Doncster, 3:35) is coming back after a long layoff hence the 20/1 forecast SP, at his best should give these a run for their money.

2008 Cheltenham Festival - Gold Cup

Well this has been a very good year for our ratings so far with both naps for the 2008 Cheltenham festival winning - Katchit the Champion Hurdle @ 10/1 and yesterday Our Viv winning the Ryanair Chase @ 4/1. Today is the main event with the battle between Kauto Star and Denman in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Our ratings and in fairness most systems make this a two horse race but we are going in favour of the challenger to the crown and as such we will be backing Denman. Take a closer look at our ratings and you will notice that Paul Nicholls trains the top three - if you think the Somerset trainer can pull of such a feat then the 5/1 on offer from both William Hill and Blue SQ looks tempting. Good luck all…

2008 Cheltenham Festival - Ryanair Chase & Queen Mother Chase

With yesterdays racing at Cheltenham being abandoned we have a busy day ahead. Lets hope we can repeat Tuesdays nap success with Our Vic in the Ryanair Chase (2:55), if he settles he should run a big race. We also fancy Voy Por Ustedes in the Queen Mother Chase (2:20).

2008 Cheltenham Festival - Champion Hurdle

Well the waiting is over and hopefully so are the storms! the 2008 Cheltenham festival starts today. We like the look of the small but brave Katchit in the Champion Hurdle (3:15), strictly on form he has a little bit to find on the principle challengers but he loves the course and should give us a run for our money.

Only 7 days to go until the Cheltenham Festival 2008 and the excitement is building, but we’ll come down to earth with a selection in the Racing Post ‘hands And Heels’ Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell. Spider Boy (4:30) is todays selection, he is well clear on our ratings and we are looking for a good run at a big price.
