Day one of Royal Ascot, assuming Hennrythenavigator is going to win the St James’s Palace Stakes we are looking for a bit of value in Tariq (Queen Anne Stakes 2:30). A well respected chestnut colt coming off a third place at Newbury in May. Given the right start has every chance here today.

We have a lot to live upto after yesterdays 15-2 winner, so lets hope Harrison George (York, 5:05) can strut his stuff today, in a race in which he looks to have a slight edge over the competition.

Buddy Holly Sandown 4:55 is today’s selection: Has been making steady progress and going down a class today.Don’t rule him out.

French Art Nottingham 4:10 is todays selection. Has a bit to prove, but should be able to pull it off today.

Non Runner

Clowance in the Oaks 4:05 at Epsom is today’s choice. All her three races have been at Newbury on good ground so should suit today. This is her longest race so far and with her ever improving form should have every chance.

Qrackers Fontwell 3:0 is todays selection: If his present form continues should have very little trouble here today, though can be a bit iffy at times!!!!!!
